| ZaZaZu in Oslo, Norway "I stood out (in a nice way) on the streets of Oslo. Dressing well gives me much more confidence in ‘taking charge’ of my environment, and certainly draws people to me. I had a very important meeting with a new contact in Oslo. It proved to be a meeting of minds, and before long he was asking my advice/opinion on a range of matters, and identified two concrete business opportunities. Before much longer he invited me to join him for dinner that evening with the Group CEO and Chairman of a large listed US company, the most senior finance official from a major European city, and the Executive Vice President of a company that is Europe’s largest in it’s field. It proved to be a wonderful evening at a waterfront restaurant in Oslo, and I am sure the way I was dressed had an impact. Would this have happened if I was wearing a suit and tie like the others? Possibly … but I have no doubt that the way I dressed radiated authority and created an image of someone my new contact wanted to introduce others to. Thank you ZaZaZu. How can I ever go back to a suit and tie, or mere well dressed business casual?
